What a wonderful afternoon we had at St Ursula's we look forward to seeing you again, I was just a visitor along with friends. Thank youJuly 2019"So pleased that Jean played This is My Lovely Day for my mother-in-law Peggy - aged 97 and probably the oldest member of the audience, remembering Dave, her late jazz pianist husband, and their wedding day. Peggy was up on her feet with everyone else at the end of the evening, joining in the rapturous applause and she is still on cloud nine after her very special evening and telling everyone who will listen at the nursing home all about it!"
Hi Jean Just wanted to say what a wonderful concert you performed at Henley Town Hall today. A joy to spend a cold grey afternoon enjoying such a virtuoso display of music. Warm & friendly chat and loved the sparkly shoes, which matched your personality. Rarely go to the organ concerts but a friend had highly recommended you and we were not disappointed. You're brilliant - keep entertaining. You bring out the sunshine.
Everyone really enjoyed your performance, and the amusing anecdotes certainly added a personal touch.
Congratulations on your achievment of raising £100,000 for charities. We managed to raise £251 on the night for the Poppy Appeal.
We intend to come along and be entertained by you when you come back to Great Wyrley in August.
Again many thanks.

Many many thanks for spending the weekend with us in Bournemouth. It was a joy and pleasure to meet you again following the brief introduction at Ashby de la Zouch last year. You are truly a “Ray of Sunshine” and a “Gift to the World”. Your musical talent is extraordinary as is your ability to communicate with your audience in a meaningful and humorous way. You have a wonderful personality and the delegates were thrilled to hear you.
Many many thanks Kindest regards to you and Bob
Once again, a big thank you for last night – It was a wonderful evening, a great round off to our Centenary Celebrations and a night which I’m sure the group will remember and talk about for some time to come..
Really nice to meet you, keep sparkling and enjoy the QE2…
It was lovely catching up with the 'JM Trio' yesterday and thank you most sincerely for the celebrity concert....It all went down beautifully with our Surrey based audience, many individuals having great words of praise for your music and of course that bubbly personality. I trust you had a trouble free journey home and that it was perhaps a little shortened by memories of the happy atmosphere you created. Thank you again for accepting our invite and for being so generous to our chapter, we shall certainly hope to do it all again for us some day. I loved your little tribute to Bob and it was absolutely great to see him looking so well after his difficult times. Judith and I will hope to hear that his progress continues in the right direction.
Lots of everything and THANK YOU once again,

Dear Jean & Bob
It was so lovely to see you again last night. Thank you, Jean, for a really superb concert. We had so many compliments about your playing and selection of music from the audience on their way out and this morning also received a very complimentary email, saying it was a fantastic concert and that you had written a lovely message on a friends dvd.
Hope your journey home was better than the one coming and that your TV slot this evening goes well.
Looking forward to seeing you in the area again soon.
Phil & Delia.
"Brilliant afternoon with all the ladies of the Inner Wheel Club of Whitchurch as they celebrate their 75 anniversary with the brilliant Jean Martyn as speaker/performer. Congratulations ladies..!
When I returned home this morning there were floods of emails, messages and callers saying just how much they enjoyed seeing you last night!
I do hope we meet up again sometime soon, it was such a pleasure to meet you both.
Thank you once again
"I can't ever remember so many people coming to me to say how much they have enjoyed a concert, mind you I am not surprised because I really enjoyed it myself. It seems like everybody who was there had a really great time , you wowed them and thanks a million for a wonderful night."
"Thank you. What an inspired concert! Apart from the flawless playing, excellent choice of music and brilliant arrangements, your artistic interpretation was heart moving. It goes without saying that your personality sparkled both during the playing and the interaction with the audience."
"Little to say except "Superb !", many thanks for arranging such a memorable event,my only regret being that I did not record the performance I thought the command of the organ and use of registration was excellent especially considering you had no prior access to the organ, and thoroughly enjoyed your chosen programme including the "Piece in Classic Style",and what a finale! The Widor Toccata !
You can with justifiable pride add to your list of performances that of the Birmingham Town Hall Organ. What was a superb concert!!!! and unique occasion. "If Music Be The Food Of Love Play On"
